At first came a strong wind, slowly quiet creeping in,
a precursor to the storm just like the weatherman said,
and the flood brought by the rain, surrounding our houses frame,
was rising steadily as if it was baking bread,
with thunder and lightning for yeast, we were scared to say the least,
the body of water was the food, surely the ground was underfed
we feared for what we’ve saved,...
