but I’m so close to being done mixing Balcones. This is a record that I have written a good chunk of the lyrics, helped write all the songs, played on all the songs, recording all of the songs, produced all of the songs, and mixed all of the songs. I’ve had help, yes, but I have done a very large amount of work on this, and I can’t wait till it’s done.

I got a check in the mail.
For around two thousand dollars, sent from someone I don’t know in New York. It’s obviously not real. And it’s so annoying. It’s just being an ass to me. Like, here you go, another reminder that you have no money and you smell. I got a check in the mail that was addressed to me and it says that I have no money and that I smell.

BALCONES
We’ve finished drums, and now we’re finishing guitar. It sounds amazing right now. I can’t to hear the final thing. Zlam Dunk release show, March 3rd. Hopefully you’ll be able to buy it on (gasp) vinyl. Cross your fingers.

Zlam Dunk just finished our last song for our new EP, Balcones. We continue recording, and will be done in like two weeks. 2012, got work to do.
